In Maine we call this tuna wiggle with peas and we serve it over saltine crackers. Or you can use canned shrimp instead of tuna to make shrimp wiggle with peas over saltine crackers...... Absolutely delicious cheap and easy.

Seafood Portofino Seafood: Lobster, Shrimp, Scallops Mushrooms Parmesan cheese Linguine Sauce: 2 Tbsp Oil, 1 Onion diced, 3 Tbsp Minced garlic Roux- 3 Tbsp floor, 6 Tbsp butter, Old bay seasoning Add 1/4 cup chicken stock Add 1/4 cup white wine, 1 cup heavy cream, 1 cup milk

You've got to cook the flour taste out of that roux or the white sauce is going to taste like raw flour. Yuck. Add the flour to the butter, put it on med low heat and stir it carefully until it browns a bit. You'll be able to smell it when it's right. I hate peas, so I like to add maybe capers, sliced mushrooms, minced parsley, maybe some minced white onion... jazz it up a bit.

I am watching this 9 years afterbthe fact but one big thing keeps popping out to me. What is the deal with the chewing gum? A couple of things come to mind. Are they chewing Nicotine gum because they cannot smoke during the presentation? Are they nervous? Did some foolhearty producer hand out gum as they went on stage not realizing the impression it gives?

My mom did a variation on this with carrots too, try it with the carrots.. kicks it up a notch! Also someone told me to try it on rye bread, also a notch-kicker-upper.

Saw this 2 years ago and the part that popped in my mind on a Sunday evening 13:25 minute mark is that the cast of this show hugged a soldier going through tough times. There's a reason why this cast stands out from all of the star trek shows. No drama, mutual respect for one another and love for their fans.

I was listening to this at work but that bit with the soldier hit me so hard I had to go escape to the bathroom just to keep from crying in public lmao, props to that dude he touched a lot of people

Michael Dorn was really off when he said that TNG and TOS had morality plays that left you with something to walk away with, but that the shows after that (including DS9) more just focused on conflict. The variety is another thing that makes Star Trek great.

Lol I really do things like you do but here’s the thing you add equal amounts of butter as flour and for every table spoons of flour you add one cup of liquid. Also cook your roux longer gets rid of flour paste taste. But I don’t measure anymore either I just think someone new to cooking might need help! Love this dish cheap and feeds the family!

I cant believe we are now at a point (2022) when i watched them growing up in my 20's and thinking one day they will all look like they did in 'all good things' and remember thinking hopefully it would be all sorted the world and peace when we all reached those ages and today now it couldn't be worse as i write this (28/02/2022 with the threat to mankind of Nukes from Russia and the hostility in the Ukraine)..We all need to pull together as a one in the planet and become untied nations to fund and travel further into space...shame we are so far away from that as i write today...hopefully one day someone will be able to put something more positive down and reply to this that 'that was then but this is now' 🖖
